In the summer of 2011 Oakland had its first BBQ. Thanks to Chuck Powell for the original idea behind the BBQ. Also a big thank you to Levant Obulie, and Joe Hayama. Because of them it was a great success. The event took place at the port of Oakland at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park.
Second event is coming September 1st 2012. Same place and location. It should be a good one.
